SF Happenings…

CROSS-CREEK…
Jonathan is sitting while Reva is at the desk talking on the phone to Vanessa. She says, laughing, no Vanessa I understand I promise I'll get Billy and all those Lewis boys there on time and clean…no worries…see you later!!!
She walks over and sits beside Jonathan, smiling at him she says, well since I'm in charge you are going to be at that wedding too...you need to be. If you are gonna come home again… He says no … they talk…he laughs, but she says we all have ghosts around every corner here but if you want Sarah to look at this as a home instead of another pit stop you have to do it. She's getting older you know and she can see these things. Get it… he says ok… she says I'm gonna get going I'll see you at the wedding… she turns to leave…
MOM!!! He startles her she holds her chest and turns to looks at him … he smiles and says thank you…. She says you are going to be the death of me !!
(Very cute).
She leaves he gets out his cell and says hey Mel…it's Jonathan Randal I need your help.
COMPANY/MARINA'S HOUSE…
James comes in hey…hey… he asks Daisy if she is going to the wedding. She says well yeah, Billy is my grandfather. She is going with Frank and Marina. He says he is too…he wants to go with her… she says are you asking me on a date… smiling…. He says yes. She says my dad is going to be there do you think you can handle it? He says I think so… smiles… I'll pick you up on a half an hour.
Buzz and Lillian kiss…Blake looks on smiling. They are all dressed up for the wedding.
Blake goes on line to the dating service…
Love seems to be everywhere I go…not for me though…what does that mean?
Frank reads it… he thinks a minute then invites her along says he has an event to attend, and would love for her to join him.
Blake says… She'd love too but is sorry she already has plans.
He sighs… says to himself it figures. She sits and sighs as well… neither have figured out they are talking to each other.
THE MANSION…
Beth is putting on her lip-gloss by Alan's desk… Philip walks in all decked out and says you look beautiful. She smiles a coy smile and says thank you…I am so glad to her you say that. He says you have Alan to thank…. They hug … he says I'm glad too.
Olivia and Natalia come in…Emma is with them she is thrilled to see Philip and ends up picked up, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck. She covers him in kisses saying she is so glad that her cookies helped him out. He says yes they did…me too. Olivia apologizes says she was so excited when she heard the news to see you. Natalia says I think Olivia was just as excited to see you too. She smiles in agreement. Nat says we better get going to get a place at the wedding you can see your daddy there… she kisses him and is off.
Beth says it's nice; Olivia and Natalia seem so close. Philip smiles and says yeah they are.
CEDARS…
Ed is in with Philip taking some vitals as Alex looks on. He says everything looks good if the blood work comes back ok then he can probably go home however he is still rebuilding bone marrow and needs to relax and take it easy for awhile no board meetings… ok? Alan asks relax what's that?! Alex laughs and says oh Alan…dear…I'll buy you a book about it. Ed says you saved you son's life…Alan says I think he saved mine.
VANESSA'S ROOM AT THE BEACON…
Maureen, Mindy, Vanessa, and Lizzie all share a moment together. Lizzie says you look beautiful… Vanessa says thanks to you…meaning Mindy…you designed this dress. It's more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. Lizzie meanwhile pulls out the garter… Vanessa says what's that…they giggle… Lizzie says welll you have something old, something new, something borrowed, and now you have something blue. Vanessa says TY it's lovely but…her face lol!! Everyone cracks up laughing as Lizzie you should see your face!! Vanessa smiles, laughs and asks what am I going to do with you ladies!!??!!!
THE RIVER…
The Lewis men are all gathered for the traditional Wedding Morning Fishing Event… Dillon, Shayne, Josh, Billy, Bill… are all talking they don't hear Reva walk up…she a big smile on her face listening to them. Billy says remember how we used to get up at 3:30 in the morning to collect night crawlers?! Josh laughs yeah, hey do you remember that time we dumped that big bucket of 'em in Reva's bed. Billy laughs oh boy… great times…great times…. Reva says yeah that was great just great…she's still smiling says she is there to be sure they get some breakfast and get cleaned up for Vanessa. Everyone says hi… she gets a few hi moms as well. They boys are in agreement they are starving… Billy says no, no we have to catch the fish first. Dillon says awww come on we've been here since 5:00 am and all we've caught is a boot and some underwear… everyone including Reva laughs. Billy says no, no the tradition is on your wedding day you eat for breakfast what you catch. Reva says Billy…there are no fish in here!! He says hey… he is marring the love of his life today… she says then you got the catch of the day twice … now get you butt up here!!! Everyone laughs!! (LOL)!!
THE MANSION….
James comes downstairs all decked out…Beth says it is nice to see he won't be late. He says he can't be b/c he has a date. A date they both say…Philip begins to adjust James tie and says well then let me help you here. Let's kick it up some!! They know Daisy is his date and watch him as he leaves. Beth looks at Philip and says…you have a date…flirting…he smiles do I? She says yes placing her arm through his… he is very pleased, as is she.
FRANK'S PLACE…
Emma, Olivia, and Natalia show up… Emma wants to know if he would like to go to the wedding with them. He says he can't b/c he is going with someone else. She teases a date…he says no just a girl who is a friend of mine. I do want my favorite little girl to save me a dance though. She hugs him and says sure you are a great dancer Rafe!! Nat. hugs him and says you are a good boy and I am very proud of you. Olivia looks on smiling. I/L/U…I/L/Y too!!
MARINA'S PLACE…
Frank looks at Marina and Daisy and says they look beautiful. He asks if they are ready to go but Daisy says no I have a date. Frank says a date with who? James arrives a single flower in hand. Frank says J. Spaulding? Marina says dad don't …they hang out all of the time together. He asks what time will you have her home? She says stop it… I'm over eighteen. Frank asks again…she giggles and gives James a look, adding I'll call you Uncle Frank…bye!!
COMPANY…
Buzz, Lillian, and Blake get ready to go when suddenly in walk Nola and Bridget. Buzz turns and says OMG … what is this the wedding of the century or what!! Nola says, teasing, no I just wanted to be sure that you didn't burn the place down… he rolls his eyes and smiles. Bridget says she was taking Peter to enroll in SFU… Blake says oh my goodness he is getting so big… Heart would be proud. Bridget smiles… they walk out but Nola and Bridget pause and look back inside sadly… Nola blows a kiss to Company and they leave.
(Heartbreaking).
THE WATERFRONT…
Everyone is gathered outside waiting…a limo pulls up… someone calls out they are arriving in style… Wanda gets the door… and out come Maureen, Lizzie, Blake, and Vanessa the crown goes wild!! Rick yells out for Mindy who smiles at him. Vanessa waves to everyone.
Suddenly a pickup truck shows up in the back some of them half hanging out and wearing shades are the Lewis boys!!! Just hootin' and hollering!! They all pile out and Billy catches Vanessa up in a big 'ole hug!!
Awww… my Vanilly!!!!
CEDARS…
Jonathan is lurking around outside of Alan's room…he sees O., Nat, and Emma arrive and hides nearby listening… they wanted to visit before the wedding. Emma made him a card…he loves it. Olivia says she was surprised and impressed by what he did for Philip. They get to go to the wedding as a whole family and Emma gets her daddy back b/c of him. She thanks Alan. He says it was parents do for their children…he asks about Rafe wants to be sure he stops by before he leaves for service.
O. and Nat. explain they are together as a family. He asks Emma how she feels about it. She says she has the best two mommies and daddy in the world. Alan smiles and agrees and send her out to the nurses station to pick a lollipop. They says TY.
He says Emma seems very happy you all do and that is what matter to me. They say TY…and Rafe will visit soon, and then they leave for the service.
Alex says that was very nice of you…they talk…and he tells her they have a family and a happiness I always used to run away from this whole experience has taught me something… she asks what? He says that it can all be taken away in just a few moments… Alex says yes…sighing…it can…
THE WATERFRONT…
Billy and Mindy share a father daughter moment together… he says this is a perfect day…she says yes it is and I am so proud of you dad it took you a long time to get here again. He says yeah too long… she says fixing his tie…I/L/Y… so much… he hugs her to him.
Beth tells Daisy she looks beautiful…Daisy says you do too. Philip, Beth, Daisy, James, and Rick all talk together. Rick asks my God do I look good?! Only kidding…they laugh.
Ashlee and Rafe talk and mingle…Doris shows up and introduces Ashlee to her 'friend' Amanda Wells. Nice to meet you… Amanda walks away after a bit… Ashlee hugs Doris. She says I'm gad you are finally letting me in. Doris says I should have awhile ago… Ashlee adds it's never too late to start mom. She hugs her and says to Ashlee… TY sweetie!!
Bill and Lizzie share a moment. She says this day is perfect I'm with you and I spent the day with my daughter yesterday I'm just waiting to see what will go wrong. He says don't think like that ... Sara is here and we…well we can handle anything together!! We can!!! He holds her…she smiles.
Remy says to Chris we get divorced then remarried isn't that what we do at weddings? She smiles back and tells him we can renew our wedding vows…later…she flirts…at home!!
Reva walks up to Josh and Shayne who are having a beer together. She says hey there are my two handsome men!!!
Suddenly she makes a face says oh…oh her hand to her nose did you…you guys shower first?! You smell like …like ugh… Shayne says kinda they smile at her. She
says you both need to do something about this. Shayne says well Billy caught this huge fish right before the truck showed up and since it was his wedding we
both cleaned the fish for him. What else could we do? She says well wash your hands before you both touch anything else. They exchange a look and both walk
towards her smiling… she starts laughing says get away..no...no, no...no… Josh says come on, come on over and give us a hug?! They all laugh.
(LOL)!!
Nola and Bridget greet Vanessa and Billy and there is tiniest bit of friction… Vanessa says she is glad they are here…Nola asks are you sure, I did call ahead to be sure we weren't wearing the same dress. Dillon looks on. Vanessa smiles. They hand her a gift an ancient coin from China, from one of the digs. Vanessa thanks them says it is beautiful.
Dillon addresses Bridget says it's so good to see you…she smiles, relieved at his tone and says seeing you is an extra added bonus…they smile and embrace.
(SECOND HALF)
THE PROPOSAL...
Buzz has been talking with Wanda he sees Lillian and says excuse me a minute please. There is someone I need to go see. He walks to Lillian she is looking out over the water by the wedding cake… he says you are so beautiful. She smiles and says TY. He says you know looking at you up there it sure… watch this…she turns and he slowly lowers himself to one knee before her. Everyone looks on from above they start clapping and cheering he waves his hand to shhh them.
He says I have wasted a lot of time in my life on stupid things…but I am sure…in this moment … that I do not want to waste another second. He speaks of how he has cared for others but how very much he cares for her and he promises that they will spend the rest of their lives with each other. Lillian is in tears as he holds her hand looking up at her. He asks so…Lillian Raines will you do me the honor of being my wife? Will you marry me? She says yes…shaking her head…yes I will marry you. He smiles says good now then can you help me back up…they crowd has gone wild!!! They kiss and everyone cheers!!!
Billy yells down hey you are getting' married today!! Vanessa claps!! What do you say?! Buzz says that's a great plan …everyone cheers…he adds we will go down to the JP after your wedding and then we will meet at Towers every year afterward for our anniversary celebrations!! Billy says no I couldn't let you do that you are getting married with us right here and now!!! Buzz says we couldn't really?! Billy says yep here in front of all of your family and friends, it's all bought and paid for…plus you know you all are never gonna look this good again. Everyone laughs!! Vanessa says listen to the man plus I insist!!! Billy says well come on now she insists!! Buzz looks at Lillian…she smiles he says ok two for the price of one!!
Awww…
Lillian says I have something I need to do real quick…brb… Buzz says you better smiling.
THE CEMETERY…
Lillian stops by the Bauer grave. She kneels down and starts to cry… she has red roses in her hand. She says I know I don't come here often enough Maureen, it's b/c I am afraid. I don't want to remember my bff's death. I can't change this or run from it forever. I know I have said I am sorry but I…I need to say it again….I am so, so sorry. I made a mistake and you…you paid the price for it. I haven't gone ahead with my life since that day I have felt so, so guilty, but…but now I am ready…ready to…to move on. I met someone Maureen…Buzz… you'd love him, he is a wonderful man and he loves me and I love him. He asked me to marry him and I said yes. She smiles through her tears. I wanted to tell you first I knew you would understand…I know you and of everyone in the world you will understand.
She kisses the roses and places them on the brave marker… she sighs…
CEDARS…
Jonathan comes into Alan room. He says long time no see huh Alan?! Alan says Jonathan…Basically Jonathan makes it clear that no matter what good Alan has done it doesn't change what he did to him or Tammy or Sarah and Lizzie. Alan says he is a changed man but doesn't expect Jonathan to believe him. He says he brought Sarah to see Lizzie. Alan says that must have been hard on you. He adds it was but a girl needs her mother. He adds he doesn't trust Alan. Alan says he understands but he is not the same man Jonathan ran away from. Jonathan says I hope so… and leaves.
THE WATERFRONT…
Marina and Frank show up…Cyrus arrives… Blake says all this love is making her dizzy… Frank puts an arm around her.
James says to Daisy wow the grandparents are getting married. She says as long as you don't mention honeymoon I'll be fine. He says oh you don't think they should be….then…she says ok, ok stop…stop it!! They both laugh…then he pulls her into a kiss.
Inside Josh and Reva are having a drink and talking to Natalia and Olivia. Reva says congrats!! A little girl!! O and Nat talk about newborn baby smell and not being able to wait to get the baby home to be with Emma…speaking of Emma we better get to her before she gets her dress dirty…
Reva turns to face Josh and say that's nice they seem so friendly. He smiles and says yes they do. She adds well I'm happy for Olivia she doesn't have a lot of friends… they really seem to care for each other. Josh says they are …more then friends…they are a …couple. She says... really? He says really. She thinks a minute then smiles and says good, good for them life is too short so…so… he says so…so... say what you were going to say… she smiles back at him and says so… since she couldn't have you she took the next best thing… cheers and she taps her glass to his. He smiles wide eyed and her grin is purely devilish…
Lillian and Beth prepare for her wedding. Beth says, in tears you deserve this mom . Lillian says I have never been a bride before!!! (AWWW)
THE WEDDING…
The wedding march begins.. Philip walks Lillian down the aisle to Buzz…who says she is just beautiful. She smiles all teary eyed.
Bill walks his mother down the aisle, but before they go he says I am so happy for you right now mom I only wish Dinah were here to see this. She says me too but it's all ok now. H says you look beautiful she says I/L/Y… he loves her to…she takes his arm and they walk down the aisle. He kisses her cheek; she pulls his head down and kisses his cheek too. She stands with Billy; Reva stands, reaches over and takes her flowers.
Billy whispers in her ear, pulling her close, you have made me the happiest man in the whole wide world today.
(So sweet).
Alan files in and sits, Philip smiles at him from his spot beside Beth. Jonathan walks in and stand to the side… all dressed up…Lizzie looks back at him and she smiles.
Father Ray begins… they have their own words…
Lillian….
I um...I never thought that there would be a time in my life when I would be standing where I am today. I have always been the 'best mom' or the 'nice nurse' but never the bride. Never the object of someone's love… when I look into your eyes I see an incredible man… the most incredible man I know it doesn't seem possible and I thank God for you Buzz. You deserve this Buzz I love you forever.
Buzz…
I have loved and I have lost more times then I care to remember. (The crowd laughs). I had given up all hope but out of the darkness of my soul there came a brilliant light … to marry me… I don't know if I deserve to be this lucky. I think that all of the angels up in heaven must have gotten together and formed this light sent straight to my heart and the light is you Lillian…you are my love, you are the light… now and forever….

Vanessa…
A long time ago, she looks up into Billy's eyes and continues, my dad wrote me a letter before he died and I have it still.
(Josh and Reva are sitting together they look at each other with smiles and a bit of sadness I'm sure each thinking of H.B. and Reva's mama perhaps).
I read it and it taught me what it meant to belong…to have a sense of belonging…he said… I have traveled the world over and seen it's glories but nothing matched the happiness of the thought of coming home.
You Billy…you always believed in us Billy and b/c of that belief I get to come home… to my only home…you Billy are home for me and this time we are going to get it right!!
Billy…
Is so proud he can barely contain himself as he says… I am a guy so full of love, and I do not believe we are here. No way did I think that we would ever be here after the he## I put you through… he feels it is a blessing they are there and have been through so much…that he get to look into those beautiful eyes and say I will not mess it up…I will do it right…
A voice from the audience says WOOT!!!! Let's do it then!!!!!!!
Everyone laughs and claps!!!
The Rings…
Father Ray calls for the rings…repeat after me with this ring I thee wed… put the ring on the fingers… they all do as the crowd looks on and laughs, Father Ray says have we all have one? So far so good? Good!! Now then by the power invested in me by the All Mighty I now pronounce you husbands and wives!! You may kiss your brides!!!!
Cheers erupt as the couples kiss on a most perfect day in SF….
TOMORROW ON GUIDING LIGHT…
Billy and Josh talk…Billy smiles and says well I just married the woman of my dreams I think we are all where we are supposed to be.
Josh says everyone except me…
Lizzie asks Jonathan if he is planning on staying in town he says…we'll see.
Josh and Bill arms around each others shoulders talk…Josh confides that he is thinking about leaving SF for good.
Beth and Philip talk…she looks away and says before the surgery you…you ah…said some things to me… she looks back up at him and says I want you to know I'm not holding you to that now…
