This is something we waited for for 14 years. My daughter has been dancing since she was 4 years old. Fri. evening, Sat matinee, and Sat eve, she danced her
recital. As a graduating senior her and 8 other girls danced their solos. She was very nervous Fri night. Thurs eve during dress rehersal she told my wife she
felt sick and afraid she would forget her routine. We kept encouraging her as her friends did. Well, she danced to Chris Daughtry's "Over You".
She did a spectaclur job. I cried through her whole performance. She was fantastic. Sat eve, she did it agian, (no solos during Sat Matinee), and again it was
perfect. Everyone said hers was the best of the 9.
She danced in 12 other numbers all three shows. There were 65 dances in all 3 shows. She was one tired girl Sat eve. We are so proud of her. She also teaches and helps with the little girls 3 yrs, and other smaller ages. So she and 4 others were recognized at the end during the finale for all her efforts in teaching. She got a huge trophy. The owner wanted her back next year to continue teaching. She's thinking about it.

Sounds like you raised a great kid. 
...I danced from the time I was four until I was eighteen. My girls dance now at
the same studio I danced at!! What fun it was to go back and see my teacher and a dear friend of mine, who danced with me, teaching my girls!! I'm sure she
was wonderful, you must be so proud. My parents never missed a show of mine and make everyone of their granddaughters' shows now too... God willing!!
