Jeffrey understands her motivation, but he also has every right to say those things to Reva, because that's exactly what she is doing, sacrificing her new family for her old family. The use of the term "Old family" was just a frustrated expression. Jeffrey knows that Reva will always try to protect her kids, noone has to explain that to Jeffrey. Reva has no proof or reason to think Shayne killed Edmund, and the fact that she is just going on a hunch, and is willing to sacrifice her life with her infant son who needs her more than her adult son needs her, gives Jeffrey every right to his words and frustrations. I totally get where Jeffrey is coming from. Reva has made a mess out of this. Yes, of course, her intentions are good, but she hasn't thought it through, and Jeffrey has every right to his frustrations as he's done everything to help her be there for Colin and she is ready to throw her life away as Colin's mother, just on a hunch that Shayne might have killed Edmund. STUPID!

Isn't the fact that Shayne didn't rush and confess to killing Edmund a big old red flag clue to Reva, that DUH........he didn't do it!!!!! Doesn't Reva see that her son would not let her sit in jail for one second if he did it.

Oh and I don't believe for a minute that Jeffrey and Reva will split over this. It's just another conflict they will get through and be closer afterward.

Oh and you're right Elizabeth, all of this is stupid anyway, cause Edmund isn't dead.

What does RR's appearance on the Tonys have to do with getting rid of Jeffrey?

Well, no secret that I love Jeffrey and I think Reva is at her best with Jeffrey, and don't ever want to see her back with Josh ever again. I think even if Jeffrey is gone from the show, and if he is involved in Edmund's death, it doesn't mean he's a bad guy, or that he killed Edmund to pave the way for a Josh and Reva reunion.
