There is also a group that has been created on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=63256508878 . Please join if you have a FB profile. I would also like to say, whoever created the Nielsen Ratings and sold that popsicle to the eskimos should be strung up by their toes. How can you possibly base shows "worthiness" based on such a small percentage of people reporting? I have a TiVo, I record GL EVERY DAY. Why don't they look at DVR recording patterns, you know that the ability is there....I think it's just too much work to actually get their viewership numbers somewhere in the huge ballpark of accuracy....

I was a Neilsen family for a week and put all the TiVoed shows I watched. Actually with the exception of a few night time shows, everything was recorded. You'd think someone would wise up witht he ratings thing. Times have changed and people watch TV differently than 20, 30 years ago when it was all about 3 networks. Really bugs me.

In all my years of working and socializing, I have only met a couple of people that watched GL. Most everyone watched AMC or GH or one of the more popular shows. I think GL being the oldest soap, always had the reputation of being a Grandma soap. I think people always like to try something new and AMC and GH were new and seemed more exciting at the time. Even though GL had good stories at the time, I think they always have had a hard time bringing in new viewers. Loretta

I wonder, Loretta, if it's where you live as well. I know tons of people (not all just family) that watch ATWT and GL. I know two people of my friends/family/patrons that I talk to that watch AMC!
