I have watched Guiding Light for several years and have recently begun watching again. I became discouraged for awhile and had to give it up. I started watching when Reva returned just as Josh was starting life over with Annie. (I really miss Annie/ Watros played a wonderful crazy obssessed lady lol). Wasn't nuts about the Clone SL but hey! soaps are soaps...anyway I was an avid fan and then GL just seemed to go downhill. I also work away from home a lot part of the year and so missed a week's worth at a time and it became to difficult to keep up with my tapes. Anyway when I heard that Philip was coming back I started sneaking a peek and I got lucky enough to tune in the day after he took Coop to the hospital. I am so tickled with these last two weeks that I am watching regularly again. Very pleased to see Edmund/PHILIP/ Blake's face/Vanessa's face/and all the 'oldies' actually being on the show. I like some of the newbies too and was very sorry to see Jonathan go (he made Alan seem sweet) and Tammy and JVD especially. I kind of hope to see Holly again too. Is there any place I can watch GL online (other than CBS?) Their video drags terribly and I want to see some of the shows I have missed. I couldn't watch today and I would really like to see the show. Thanks for being here hattah

I'm not as frisky as I used to be, well I am, but now I'm limited to what I can do. Radiation made me a mutant. I'm the ole whipper sanpper around here. Everyone around here calls me, well, whatever they feel like calling me. I'm a rascal, a jester, a clown, a pervert (in a good way) and the slapping butt of all the spankies dished out. I've been here for 5-6 years I think. Give or take a day or month. I like to sponsor communal showers but no one comes. I bring all the lufhas and oils and creams, and peanut butter, but ony one gal here, Princess shows. The others don't know what they're missing. So all you newbies, welcome and please stay and post. Don't just lurk and not post. We have a lurking police here who, when they catch you, do some aweful things to make you stay. Here is a sample of what they do......... That about covers it. And they wear tight leather while doing it. So take care, and you'll see quite a bit of me around here. Especially in the room where they do those naughty things. My mom has watched Guiding Light since I was a child. My dad started watching it with her about five years ago, and with Tivo, they've kept up. I got married in September. My wife and I always thought it was funny that my mom and dad watched a soap opera. Then, on January 19th, Martin Luther King Day, Andrea and I slept in because we didn't have to work. We ended up eating lunch at 2pm in front of the TV, and noticed Guiding Light was on. As a lark, we decided to watch it so maybe we could say something funny about it to my parents. That was it. Oh my god (omg), it was the funniest thing ever. Olivia was trying to make Natalia understand what everyone had assumed about them because of the whole My Two Mommies thing....classic. We've seen every episode since, and we look forward to watching it every lunch break from work. My favorite is by far Alan. He has, in my short time watching it, the best line ever: Nobody will ever laugh at me again! (followed by Andrea and I laughing). Awesome. Olivia is also awesome. And Dinah. For someone new to the show, although we've read her history on soapcentral, we think Dinah is a good person. Mom and Dad tell us otherwise, but what are you gonna do? PS- We got banned from soapcentral.com cuz we both logged in from the same computer (surprise, we live together). Is that common around here? Banning people? I swear we're nice.

Elizabeth (the board owner/admin) only bans people that are mean to other posters or says really horrible things about the actors. She takes banning VERY serious.
