Anyhow, I found that the website does have full episodes here: http://stargate.mgm.com/browse/videos/series/3/narrow/fulleps/index.html and will have to catch up by and by. Anyone here watching this? How do you like it so far? I am going to go reset my video tape recorder for tonight's episode!

It is quite different from SG1, for sure, though we still see some of the characters from that series. This one seems to be a cross between Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek Voyager, Firefly and SG Atlantis. I am not sure why they have introduced the 'lost in space' motif, but it is very well made, with very good direction and acting. I like two of the new characters very, very much: the geeky technology wunderkid Eli Wallace and the dour Scottish scientist who heads the Icarus project - Doctor Nicholas Rush. The others are coming along very nicely too - a rather interesting visual is provided by the Summer Glau lookalike (the actress who played River Tam on Firefly) actress Chloe Armstrong, though the character she plays is rather annoying every now and then. It has been fun catching up, and it has piqued my interest enough that I will stick with it for a while yet.

The lighting, not the content. I'm sure it needs to be since they are on a ship in space, but I don't care for shows that are dark. I do like Eli though! Thought he was going to get the girl, but, guess not. I usually read while dh is watching and only look up occasionally. I'm sad about this because I just loved the other 2. Ah well, can't like them all! Praying daily for our Guy

Posts: 1084 (11/07/09 06:35:35) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	drats, missed it last night.....have to see when it's on again...it plays a few times for me....which is the good part, but i have loved all the eppies, so far..but, i'm still confused....as to the real roles of justin louis and that other guy.....awwwww, can't think of his name, right now.... susan and i'm waiting patiently for the new torchwood and doc who, to come out....never was a doc who fan, in the past..but david tennent converted me, too bad that he's not on the new season.... someone tells me though that the torchwood guy is still doing plays in london, so he's busy elsewhere, so that's why they have the delay.. lou diamond philips....that's the other guy on SGU, that i'm confused, about...lol
