If you have anyone you want to add please do. You can tell us the circumstances (or not). I'll start the list: My aunt Helen who is in a nursing home and is suffering from depression and anxiety. Our own Princess, Yellowrose who has COPD and some other issues going on Masaj's sister

Posts: 4637 (10/05/09 05:42:24) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	my kids Sarah and Noah....they are sick with what we will think they have the flu, taking them today to find out--they are very sick Shaycee (Sarah's classmate who had cancer a few years back) because she has the h1n1 flu as does several of the kids in the school..she is very sick as well. One child died from it in Tulsa last week, went from fine on Tuesday to dead on Thursday....high school sophmore, no underlying conditions, perfectly healthy otherwise. Thanks, Shelly for this. I had a list of everyone at one time that I had wrote and I can't find it now, I try to rely on memory and I know I miss so I end up just asking prayer for the GL board members and their family! Praying daily for our Guy

She has entered Stage Four breast cancer. Her cancer has spread to her Liver also. Terri's prognosis is not good. Please keep Terri and your family in your thoughts and Prayers.

He will probably have to start chemo... and they gave like five year odds but I'm not much one for odds I think God has the plan and you trust in him as to what time you have here. Also I only had a ten percent chance to survive the accident/not be permanently brain damaged when we lost our daughter and here I am so I know there are those that make beat the odds. I'm just nervous b/c I'm leaving for NYC on Thursday...but he wants me to go and on Thursday and have fun. He has saved every article on GL he could find over the last few weeks it was on to give to me. He is such a sweet man. My prayers are extended to all of you and yours as well!! God Bless you all!! But I think this is appropriate....... Lord, we ask You to watch over all of us on this board including our loved ones and friends. Many of us just need You to guide us through our days, others listed here and in our hearts need You for cures, hope, and for strength. There are many times we come to You asking for Your help, assistance and strength during our down times, and it seems at times we take You for granted. But we know You understand us cause we are weak, and thats why we look to you for strength. We ask that You especially watch over and bless everyone in this thread. Grant them health, stability, and courange. This is possible through You. Amen. Guy (Laughter IS the best medicine!)

I will pray with you in those very words. In addition, I would like to add everyone whom each of us knows or has heard of who has lost a job in the last two years and is struggling to keep things together. May there be a light at the end of the tunnel for this suffering too and may that light shine bright.

Both of my son's need work,My oldest has been unemployed for about three months,his unemployment will expire soon. and my youngest came home from Lubbock because he had been put on part time with no salary. He has opened a storage shed lot,but at this time people are not really into buying sheds. So he is looking for a full time job and will sell sheds part time. My sister had a masectomy,she is doing okay.But still needs prayer for strength. I went to see her yesterday,she was in pt and it is so sad to see a once vital woman so old and weak. As for myself,I am feelng stronger,not 100% but what the hay,I'm old. Can't expect to feel 20. Thank you all for your prayers and know that I pray for you all daily.

Posts: 3798 (10/11/09 16:06:28) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I would like to ask your prayers for the Stotridge Family - their 11-year-old daughter got up at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, complained of feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing - they took her to the ER and she was pronounced dead by 9 a.m. She was a sixth-grader - I have heard it was heart failure - but I'm not sure as yet - I did not know them personally, but my son is 11 and I cannot even imagine this happening to my family. My heart is breaking for them and I'm sure they need all the prayers they can get. My best friend's father - who has been battling cancer for three years Jamie

Posts: 3799 (10/12/09 07:09:06) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Thank you - I can't get this family off my mind - I did hear this morning (from someone who knows the family) that the little girl apparently had been sick and was on some type of medication - I heard she missed a dose of her cold medicine and she took a double dose herself! She felt very dizzy and told her family about taking it - they rushed her to the hospital but she died within 2 hours! Isn't that horrible? Jamie
