As a 3rd GL gen. - this has been the first week w/out watching GL or recording GL and also I did watch any CBS daytime at all and I miss my Light and the characters.

I was just thinking the same thing, when I got on our message board. First week gone all ready. I have no idea what is even on during the time of when GL was shown here in the Chicago area and I'm not even going to check as I have literally turned off CBS daytime. I am thinking of tuning into ATWT when Phelpry gets on the scene, but that will be all. Might as well give ATWT some support. That too will probably be gone a year from now!

On Monday, I checked just to make sure the show was really gone. It hadn't really sunk in, yet. It sure has, now.

It is terrible! I have been doing everything I can to keep busy at night (which I why I have not been on here much.) We have been going out doing things every night. I cannot face the TV set.

My TV looks empty and lonely w/out GL - CBS should have never taken our GL away and of course I didn't watch what CBS replaced GL with and will not watch what CBS puts in place of GL and I am a 3rd GL gen and CBS has been on all my life 'cause of GL, but not anymore since my GL was gone 9/21 and did not watch or record any of CBS daytime last week and will not next week and etc and CBS made a big mistake when they took off our GL.

I missed not being able to watch my GL, but I didn't miss watching CBS daytime last week - the first week w/out GL and I will keep missing GL - however I will not miss CBS.

It seems soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo very strange to look at the clock and know that there will be NO GL!

I do watch Y&R, . . . but would'nt touch ATWT! I just can't seem to stop myself and take another look at the clock and know that GL is not there. there still something that says wait you did'nt watch GL today. . . your day is'nt complete unless you see it!!! I know that I will stop looking at the clock and just go on with my day, but its going to take some time. . . a LOT of time.

I get chest tightness just reading this thread! Ugh! It is horrible! It makes my heart heavy! I am glad we all have each other! SOB!

I hate that stupid loud tacky game show will replace our GL and characters and oh yes I didn't watch any CBS daytime last week since GL isn't on and I am not watching CBS daytime this week since GL is not on and I will not watch CBS next week with no GL & etc and etc.
