It was so good to see these two together again. These actors just work great together and seem so natural with each other. It's a shame we haven't
had this to watch all along. Shayne was his old beligerent self today. Not nice. Tom, is lookin' mighty fine too.

Too bad there isnt more time to explore Jonathan/Shayne more. This seems really good. I agree with Reva.....Shayne is like Josh is a lot of ways and Jonathan
is like Reva in...well, almost every way.

I loved today with Jonathon and Reva. They are my favorits. Would love to see more of them together. Won't to see Sarah too with her mom Lizzy.

I laughed throughout the Jonathan/Shayne scenes! I never gave it any thought, but when Jonathan said that Shayne is definitely Josh's son I realized just
how true that is!

I LOVE when Jonathon makes fun of Josh, especially in how he pronounces his name. "So how is Josh-u-aaaa these days?". I always crack up when Jon
draws out his name like that. Also am so glad to see him back. There is SO much potential here...it makes me so very, very sad to know the end is so near.....

The character of Jonathan is my least favorite character on Guiding Light and I didn't miss him at all when he was off the show. I don't like how he
makes fun of Joshua's name and that he has been brought back to pimp Feva.

I like Jonathan being back, I love Reva's children all of them...but I have to admit I wasn't crazy about the whole thing myself either. I would have
liked to see some connection between the brothers instead of the fight scene. I think the whole 'trashing' of Josh and Shayne is as over done at times
as the whole 'trashing' of Reva and Jonathan that occurs at times. Since there are only three weeks left I'd rather see focus on sl resolution
instead of senseless name calling and arguing. JMO of course.

I love Jonathan and Reva, and it's so refreshing he sees Josh as he truly is. He can pimp Feva all he wants for me. Reva's last two sons, Jonathan
and Colin, belong to Richard and Jeffrey, both Bradley's characters. Just sayin'..................

I wasn't too sure I wanted Jonathan and Shayne fighting. I just saw the scenes. Mama Reva broke the fight up and the actors had an undercurrent of humor
going on. It made the scene and their history work for me. Shayne is still highly suspicius of Jonathan. That is story telling. There is not much time left. I
wish each show from this point on resolves or closely resolves many stories.

It will be even fun to trade thoughts with words, even if we totally disagreed, as long as we are both articulate and very respectful of each other. However, just a string of "mad" (meaning emoticon) faces after quoting someone's statement does not lead to further
conversation, and I could not interpret it as anything but your being "mad" at this person for voicing her or his view. It may, in fact, be quite
intimidating to an infrequent (but highly valued) poster who dared to express a different point of view from your own.
This board is for the most part a very easy-going board, and the atmosphere is generally very friendly as you know, though we all hold very differing view points at times and have fun actually putting our thoughts into words. That was what I had in mind when I wrote the above request to not make it personal and to not take it personally. I hope you were not offended by that request.

I didn't get to see any of last week's shows due to a VCR malfunction, but in the recap it says that Shayne is suspicious of Jon because he was raised
by his uncle Edmund. Jonathan was adopted by Olivia's sister and then he took off after his adoptive mother died because his stepfather was an abusive
jerk. I don't remember Edmund ever having been involved in "raising" Jon. Edmund tried to kill Jon as a baby; Jon has more reason than anyone to
hate Edmund IMO. Edmund tried to kill him, his mother and his father at different times.
Did I miss something? Did they actually say Edmund raised Jon or was that a mistake in the recap? I'm really confused.

That was a big error in the recap. I think Reva and Richard sent Jon to live with Olivia's sister and husband to get him away from Edmund. He was in
hiding and Edmund didn't know where he was till he found him in Springfield. Jon probably hates Edmund, because it was his fault that he had to go live
with a man that abused him.
