SOD & SOW (8/4/09 Issues) Posted by Melissa @ The Official KZ Board http://kimzimmerfanclub.yuku.com/topic/4485 SOD (8/4/09) Recap for this week - Reva admits she feels a connection to Dinah because she was the last person with Jeffrey. Later, Reva can't bring herself to complete Jeffrey's funeral arrangements. Doris officiates Jeffrey's memorial in the park. Reva puts on the wedding band and sets up the lantern. Olivia's happy when Ava shows up. Marina is overwhelmed with emotion. Dinah wonders what Shayne would think if he knew she is the murderer. Reva stands face to face with Jeffrey's picture as everyone watches from a distance. Reva introduces Ava to her little brother, Colin. Remy and Ava share a moment remembering Max. Everyone brings something that reminds them of Jeffrey to place in the box. Dinah speaks up, saying that she's known Jeffrey the longest and owes him everything. She drops a tiara in the box. Ava thanks everyone for coming. Billy announces that they're turning a plot of land into a community playground in Jeffrey's honor. A hysterical Reva runs off. She stands on a bridge, sobs and declares she doesn't want anyone but Jeffrey. There's a preview article about Dinah reconsidering Shayne's proposal and saying yes. In the article, Jeff Branson mentions that Reva is slipping "pretty far down a dark path." Dinah had turned down the first proposal after admitting to Matt that she killed the man everyone believed was Edmund. She attempts to listen to Matt's advice and keep quiet about her crime. Looks like Shayne and Dinah get married on August 3. Reva and Jeffrey's 'Parting Words' got a Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down. The thumbs down was for the poor production value of the call. The praise was for Reva's wrenching reaction to the call. She begged Jeffrey not to say goodbye and tearfully cursed the gods who would take him away from her after all they've been through. After the line went dead, she ran through the street screaming for help. They gave Kim kudos for giving Jeffrey and Reva a parting moment fans won't soon forget. There's a feature interview with Gina Tognoni. She mentions Kim and Bradley singing together at her wedding. There's a section on soap friendships. Jeffrey and Mel's friendship is featured for GL and there's a great Q&A with Bradley Cole and Yvonna Wright. Bradley won the poll and also is featured in the Round Up. Not bad for someone who is supposedly off the show. Shayne and Dinah: it says that she accepts his proposal and he wants to get married immediately. Dinah is still guilt-ridden about killing fake Edmund but Shayne doesn't notice anything wrong with her since he is mainly focused on Reva's wellbeing. The couple announces their engagement to everyone including Mallet and Marina who have launched an unofficial investigation to help clear Marina as a suspect in the murder. Branson points out that Shayne; "has taken mallet as a more of a threat than Dinah to the sanctity of their relationship, he thinks that Mallet doesn't have good intentions and that there is always weirdness when Mallet and Marina are around" What will happen Buzz bails Cyrus out of jail so that he can help him solve a mystery Dinah presents mallet with a hard truth. -------------------------------------------------------------- SOW (8/4/09) Week of July 27 - An anguished Reva collapses in her driveway. There's another article about Shayne and Dinah's engagement, despite her deadly secret which indirectly caused Jeffrey's death. Jeff Branson mentions that Reva considers Dinah to be a good companion for Shayne. Also, Michelle Ray Smith will be on-screen July 27 as well. Olivia explains her relationship with Natalia to Ava. Matt sees Dinah wants to confess to Shayne so he interrupts her. Matt tells Dinah that confessing won't change anything for Jeffrey. In the end, Josh tells their friends and family that Reva won't be returning. Olivia tells Phillip that Natalia's silence is starting to affect her whole life. Shayne begs Dinah to marry him so they can give Reva something to be happy about. Reva is walking up her driveway when she hears Jeffrey's voice. Reva is overcome with memories of her last moments with Jeffrey. Reva ends up collapsing in the middle of her driveway. Phillip sees Reva fall, and runs to her, worried that she's hurt. Reva tells Phillip about the last time she saw Jeffrey. Reva slowly walks in their house, picking up Jeffrey's guitar. Reva wonders aloud what Jeffrey was thinking to leave them. We are taken to a remote wooded area, where a figure appears, struggling to walk, then collapses... The man in the jungle: Jeffrey O'Neill - alive! Dinah agrees to marry Shayne. Shayne tells Dinah that he wants to marry her as soon as possible as they begin to make love. Marina continues to sense Mallet doesn't trust her. Marina asks Mallet if he still loves her. Mallet tells Marina that he'll always love her. Marina tells Mallet that they have too much to lose to let it all go without a fight. Olivia admits to Ava that she and Natalia have fallen in love. Olivia reveals that Natalia left Springfield because it was all too much for her. Ava is happy that Olivia has found someone to love, believing Natalia loves Olivia just as much. Mallet and Marina try to solve the murder case together. Phillip gets news about his treatment options from Ed Bauer. Cyrus gets bailed out of jail - by Buzz. Buzz springs Cyrus to help him solve a mystery. Alan is suspicious of Phillip's actions. Marina finds a way to prove her innocence. Lizzie and Bill are surprised by Phillip's wedding gift. Shayne shares some good news with Reva. Reva is happy that Dinah and Shayne are engaged. Buzz's behavior horrifies Marina. 7/31: Phillip and Alan go on a trip together to search for answers. 7/31: Vanessa and Dinah get ready for the Dinah's day. Soap Opera Network All of Springfield continue to pay respects to Jeffrey, Monday, July 27. Marina refuses to give up on proving her innocence to Mallet. Olivia opens up to Ava about her feelings for Natalia. The Inside Story: Holding on to Hope Phillip has a heart to heart with Lillian and admits that he wants to make things right with Alan. Lilllian voices her skepticism about Alan when Phillip shares his father's story about his draft. Meanwhile, Alan, wanting to make sure James is far away from Daisy, plans on keeping him busy at Spaulding Enterprises. During a visit from James, Josh puts Daisy on the spot by calling him her boyfriend. In the meantime, Alan voices his concerns to James that he needs to be a part of the family,in the hopes of looking strong and united. Phillip, on the other hand, isn't focused on the board meeting and tells Alan he has something to handle. He soon finds himself meeting with Ed for a check-up and learns from him that there is a new procedure that can save him. When Phillip returns home, he walks in on Alan and James arguing. Alan takes Phillip to task informing him that he needs to help him put James in line. Phillip, however, snuffs Alan's suggestion and informs him he has other plans to bring the family together. Later that day, Alan walks in on a telephone conversation Phillip is having and wonders what is going on. Phone call completed, Phillip finds James and advises him to think before he does things since he wants to be the one to help break the bitter cycle of father/son battles. He then shares with James that he has a plan that could be that to rest once and for all. Worried that Phillip is setting his sights on Spaulding Enterprises, Alan corners Rick in hopes of finding out if he knows anything about Phillip's plan. Rick, curious as to what is going on spots Phillip on his way to see Ed but Phillip quickly covers Once alone with Ed, Phillip tells Ed he's not taking the option for treatment; but rather dedicate his time to do his best to put the Spaulding family back together. Back at the Spaulding mansion, James lets slip to Alan that Phillip shared with him that he was working on a plan to help the family. Alan assumes it's his decision to take over the company. When Phillip sees Alan, he lets his father know that he's heading out of town for a few days; Alan quickly offers to accompany him. A Closer Look: Finishing What Was Started Buzz opens up to Lillian and tells her how much he misses Coop. He later tells Frank about a book that Coop was writing about Jenna's life, pointing out that he wants to make it happen.. Frank tells Buzz that Coop's belongings are still in the school locker. Buzz heads over to the school and pours over his belongings, finding the tapes and notebook that are specifically for the book. Meanwhile, Mel, who has went to see Cyrus, tells him that Buzz will be willing to speak on his behalf.but the case if far from being an easy one. Buzz heads home and begins going through the tapes of Jenna and realizes Coop had been working for months on research about her. Meanwhile Buzz shows up at the police station and asks Cyrus just how much he knows about Coop's book and soon posts his bail so he can help him out.
