So true...I had to take a minute and go outside before I could start the recap... the reality of it is astounding b/c this is really the end.
This song keeps running through my mind over GL and it's ending... Dust In The Wind (Don't Hang On) by Kansas I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind Dust in the wind, Everything is dust in the wind ... I started tearing up when Michelle, Rick and their kids were in the Bauer kitchen eating the apple pie. When Michelle talked about it being the next
generation. I continued to tear up when Rick started his speach especially when he talked about his grandmother and then I was REALLY tearing up when the four
musketeers each took a turn to speak.
I think they're just as sad as we are. |

It is all so very sad. I will be going on a big trip starting Sept 3rd and will miss the last couple of weeks of the show. I will try to DVR the last couple
of shows. It still does not seem real, that the show will be gone when I get back.

You know, this is true of me as well. I will be in France during the end of the show and I will miss the whole thing as well. I just realized that. What a
pity! A poorly timed vacation! At least I will be back before the true end, but I will be in "catch up" mode. This whole thing stinks! I can't
believe we were not able to save the show!

It's not over yet guys! Don't lose hope! I know it is difficult to keep the faith but please try! There are some nice rumors floating around...we need
to stay on the campaign trail!
GL and CBS are coming to an end...they have to follow through with their goodbyes. But, with any luck at all we will also get a nice big HELLO!!!! ;0) Keep the Light Shining! ;0) |
