I don't want them to lose out on an opportunity for work, but I would be weary of going to ATWT if I was any soap star. Before GL was cancelled, lots of rumors about ATWT being cancelled. I catch my ABC soaps on soap net anyway so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't miss any soaps if I checked it out. I try not to ever say never b/c you just don't know what will or won't work out. I mean it might make sense for Reva to decide she needs a fresh start after all I have read may be going down soon, and I can't imagine Josh wouldn't follow right behind her. Posts: 8573 (07/03/09 11:10:39) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I really would love to see RN's Josh in Oakdale, and KZ's Reva too, for that matter - but not as a couple, super or otherwise. I can imagine what a foil Josh would make to the awful, awful men they have going in Oakdale right now (with the exception of the present version of Craig Montgomery, I loathe and detest all of them, pretty much, almost). I would love to see Carly Tenney Snyder fall for Josh's charming ways, and create a new 'super-couple' who can be handily named 'Joly.' I can imagine how wonderful a change Reva will make in Oakdale, in her own right. I would love to see her be a long-lost niece of Lucinda Walsh, and the two sassy ladies can really light up the screen. She can be such a wonderful addition! NOT as a couple, for I never want to see the pairing of Jeva ever happen again. The only times I have ever liked Reva is when she is not in Jeva. When she is a part of Jeva, I have come to dislike, detest and loathe Reva. She is adorable to me when she is someone in her own right, with any man other than Josh! Malar

If Lucinda is still there, wouldn't that be a bit much to have two very strong older characters on one show? I won't follow RN unless he is playing another character that I like. Can't imagine it being any different on ATWT. I hope if Kim goes to another soap, she won't have the restraints of being half of a supercouple follow her.

Very different generations of women, though. Lucinda is a lot older than Reva. Life experiences are varied, but very different as well. Each can teach the other a lot of stuff and each can a learn a lot from the other too. I think that they can work very well together because they are both strong characters. I think in fiction (as in real life) when a strong character has no other strong character for interaction, the stories wither and die. I will watch Robert Newman even if he played Billy Mays in a Billy Mays bio-pic. The hard-working Billy Mays was certainly at the very edge of my limit of tolerance for watching on screen ... I hope if Kim goes to another soap, she won't have the restraints of being half of a supercouple follow her. May it be so! I wish the same also for Robert. Malar

I know that sounds a bit strange, I just think it's the writer in me I pull apart characters on request all the time and recreate them, so for me at least it would probably fly. It would almost be like watching them in a movie or a play outside of GL. I enjoy RN and KZ together as well as apart and will always be a fan of both of them. I know no matter what they chose I will follow them both and enjoy what each decides to do. They are both very, very talented. It seems to me that a lot of their "supercouple" status was earned at an earlier time. I know that sounds really bad, but would they be able to "sell" the supercouple to people who haven't known them all this time as we have? She was always the one who wanted excitement in her life and Josh just didn't provide that at all. He was just there to pick up the pieces for Reva when her latest affair went off the rails.
