It is with sad regret that I post this today.
There is no deal with Lifetime, Oxygen, SoapNet, or TV Land.
If there was ever a deal with Lifetime, something happened to it early on. My speculations are that Telenext was feeding rumors to the soap media in order to get us excited and calling/writing Lifetime, but again, there was never a deal. I have heard rumors that SoapNet/ABC only wanted a portion of the actors and very little else of the show. Oxygen and TV Land were never seriously discussing picking up GL.
The only thing that GL has to look forward to is a possible internet show, but even that is looking as an impossibility right now (according to my sources).
September 18 is coming soon, and it does look like it will be the end.
. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the
reality shows and courtroom shows today I have no interest in. If anything I'll have an extra hour to devote to my children!!
