I just found out this morning that a woman I know and her son were killed in a car wreck last night. Amy was killed instantly, Kyler-the son-and Tara-a friend of my daughters were taken to the hospital where Kyler later passed away. Tara had to have surgery, but she's in stable condition now, alert and responsive. My heart aches for this family. The older son, Brandon has his Bachloriette (sp?) tonite and will graduate next Saturday on the 16th, and poor Tara, only 11, left without her Mom. Waking up on Mother's day to hear that your mom and brother were killed just breaks my heart. Please pray for the Blagg family, it's going to be a very trying time for them. Thanks!
*****UPDATE 5/12****** I talked to a family member yesterday and found out what happened. It's hard to explain without showing but I will try.
Basically Kyler was driving North, there were two cars driving South. The second one was a truck, and (according to the passenger in the car that hit Kyler) was driving erratic for miles. Finally, he passed the car full of elderly people (that is the car that hit the Blaggs) and then instead of getting back over in his lane, they said it was as if he was playing chicken w/Kyler, even though he had plenty of time/room to get back over, he didn't. So Kyler swerved to the right to go out around the truck, hit the dirt and swung back behind the truck (still in Kyler's lane, never even slowing down) but fishtailed back into the lane the elderly car was in and the old people hit him in the drivers door. It doesn't make sense to read it but to see it it does. The b@stard truck driver RAN! The even worse thing is that Amy's parents were in the car a ways back from Kyler and saw the whole thing happen. The kids were in the car (both in front seat) for about an hour while they were being cut out. The only way you can ID the car is the license plate on the back. So sad. This has affected so many people, not just the family. Kyler was a very well liked kid in school and Amy was "mom" to all the boys' friends. Brandon is taking this very hard of course, I'm not sure how he will handle graduation. I guess though the one who is really needing prayers is Amy's Mom. I can't imagine losing my child, let alone watching it happen and she's on the verge of a major breakdown right now. Thanks for all the prayers so far and please keep them coming.

I will be keeping the Blagg family in my thoughts and prayers
