some tidbits of good acting |

i thought that the scenes of reva and edmund and reva and dinah were really well acted. i love it when actors are spot on and i thought theses 3 were in their
respective scenes. reminded me of the old days on the light.

I agree with you, totally, SallyAnn!
I was delighted by the Reva/Dinah scenes yesterday - both KZ and GT were well-matched in how they executed their craft and art, as were Jeffrey and Reva later on ('little Revo' ). Both Olivia and Natalia were simply
awesome in their scenes together, and later on, with Frank (man, Frank D. can really act too! not just a pretty face, not just a hunk of a body, but a man who
can act! ) and even with the guy at the bar (hey, I really liked what THAT actor could do too, can we hire him full time, please?). Frank D. astonished me
because I have not seen this side of him, the side which can project more than simple and one-dimensional emotion in a loooooooooooooong time. I had forgotten
that he is actually a very good actor!
Then came even more amazing scenes with Edmund and Shayne, and then, Edmund and Josh. I love the NuShayne! This guy can act too! Go figure, all of a sudden, they are waking up and smelling the coffee among the GL Executives? What is going on? Since he is my favourite, I would love to write a paean to DAM's range of acting yesterday, but I cannot single him out because in every scene he was, the other actor gave as good as it gets! I was thrilled with the range of emotions that the normally-snarling Edmund was displaying yesterday and especially loved how vulnerable he seemed when he was with both Shayne and with Josh. Speaking of Josh, Robert Newman whose talents (and looks too, let us not kid ourselves Edmund was not only clueless in all his excitement to what Josh was feeling right then, he (Eddie) was also naive beyond all belief. Why would the Owner of a Construction Company hand over to you all his expertise regarding the construction process bur not only hand over his precious son, Eddie? Get a CLUE! Josh and Edmund were both superb in that scene! I sort of felt like I was watching a real life moment there - I really felt for Josh, but also for Eddie! reminded me of the old days on the light.Exactly! This is exactly how I felt too. We all knew that this was possible, but who knew that it would actually happen! ![]() ![]()

It looks like, all it took was Eddie coming back to get 'the light back on'! He adds so much to a scene. GL will really be cookin' again when
Phillip comes on board. Can't wait. Now if they could only find a way to bring back Carmen, I would be in heaven.

Oh! I loved Carmen! And she is only in a coma! She could always wake up!!!

I don't know Elizabeth - Carmen has more haters of her character than fans, I think, based on the joy that was expressed when she and the whole mob scene
was written out of Springfield.
My problem with Carmen is that she was just another cartoon villain, no matter the beauty and talent of the actress who played Carmen.

They could always bring back Carmen to 'help' Edmund with his devious ways. What I remember most about Carmen, was her fabulous wardrobe. No other
character dressed as classy as she did.

I never cared for the Carmen character. I though the actress played her as too over-the-top, too campy. She annoyed me
more often than not.
I do, however, enjoy having Edmund back. And, I am so looking forward to seeing Phillip, again!

No maters from me Princess. I loathed the mob story; however, I did enjoy Danny and Michelle and did like Carmen and Edmund together.

I WOULD LOVE THE SANTOS FAMILY BACK.BET ALAN SPAULDING COULD LEARN CARMEN A THING OR TWO, MAYBE MORE, WHAT I DO NOT UNDER STAND IS THE
HATE FOR THE SANTOS, WHEN ALAN IS WORSE THAN THE SANTOS, HE GETS FREE PASSES, IF I REMEMBER ,WASN;T ALAN DAD MOB,I SEEM TO REMEMBER ALAN STARTED SOMETHING WITH
THE LEWIS AND THEY FOUND SOMETHING ABOUT BRANDON SPAULDING, BUT AS USUAL IT WAS FORGOTTEN, I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR THE SANTOS FAMILY TO COME BACK AND GO
UP AGAINST ALAN, AND WE MAYBE COULD FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS. BUT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE THE ONES THAT MADE THE SANTOS FAMILY , NOT OTHERS, JUST LIKE I AM SO VERY
HAPPY THAT GRANT CAME BACK AS PHILLIP, NOT ANOTHER ACTOR,

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't like mob stories in general and I felt like the whole Santos thing was a copy of General Hospital.
