You have to keep recycling old relationships with the same old tired characters or spend some money and hire new actors.

I agree, the show being focused on the same small subset of characters and being the Brooke Logan show for the rest of the time is a real problem. Yet it is popular ... Rick/Taylor relationship was a problem for me, not because of their age difference, but because she has pretty much known him since he was in his nappies, and as the child of her main romantic rival! I can see a May/December romance happening and being romantic also, but not if there is this kind of incestuous suggestions ... The Pam SL recently was very good though. I hear that Betty White is returning briefly to reprise Ann - she is always good for being entertained! Malar

How many times did he tell poor Brooke to hit the road and then in the same breath whisper ,,,,Logan,,,,,Unforgettable,,,,and mark it down people the first and last time I will defend Brooke,,,,,, no wonder the girl went to such horribble lengths to get Ridge,,,,,mamma's boy gave Brooke no other reason to think that they had a chance. KKL love her she is such a great actress to make despise Brooke for this long,,,,,,,Brooke baby has pulled some real stinkers! the biggie was Brooke sleeping with Deacon,,,,,,,her daughters husband then Brooke getting knocked up with her daughters hubby,,,,,,that was the worst. and the stinkest. Hunter Tylo I have always enjoyed her character, but dang she has got to be the dumbest moron who is a doctor, and not only a doctor but a head shrink! SHe fell for Ridge and that is fine but when she saw that he could not make up his mind she shopuld have hit the bricks! Not only that why would any sane woman get involved with a man who is so hung up on Brooke yes Popeye,,,,,,Nick that right there should have been grounds for RTC, then Rick!!!!!!! DeeeteeeeDEeeeee John McCook OOOOO Eric talk about the #! boy, he totally screwed Steph by keeping the rightful ownership of Forrester Creations not mention giving Crooke half and being totally betrayed when Eric had a flig with Brooke and had to children with her now he is with her sister ACK I wont say cross word about my beloved Queen Stephanie I could go on and on but there is not enough time in a day. Dazie, I am happy for you that you feel this way about the characters on this show. My problem is that to a man and to a woman, I dislike all of them. Only the degree of dislike goes up or down with each SL. The few characters I really like do not ever stay around. I really liked Sam, her class-conscious mother (Linda Grey was superb at this role), her long-lost love and her daughter SL. They were not integral characters to B&B, and they have been all mis-placed them all somewhere. I like Stephen Logan, and he is nowhere to be seen. I liked the Lawyer Brother Logan (forget his name - it is something ridiculous like Thorn and Ridge, but cannot remember then ame now), and they wrote him off. I know that the show is popular, but the story-lines are all very embarrassing to those of us who live inside Los Angeles County! So, I am happy that you have all this enthusiasm for the show and ALL its characters .... Malar

My daughter is home sick from school so I won't have to leave just before it starts to go get her. Now, continuing on with what dazie said earlier..... Is it just me or did Taylor come back from the dead as a weaker wishy-washy version of the one before? She just seems to be getting weaker and a little more crazy/off balance to me. Ridge and Brooke.....come on! What more can be said about these 2?!?! They are not the reason I watch....I find myself leaving the room to get a snack or drink when they are on because they have been repeating the same words and behaviors for how many years now? Rick...he seems to have an identity crises about his age. He has been with girls much younger than him(Phoebe, Kaitlyn) and much older(Taylor,Amber was his baby-sitter) Find the guy someone in his own age bracket for goodness sakes! Bridget....clueless....always has been. Nick...he has never hit a chord with me one way or the other Donna.....can't stand her! Pam....fun to watch her torment Donna....anything bad that happens to Donna makes me happy. And Dazie, I'm with you on Stephanie....I think she is just misunderstood.

It also did not help at all that the beautiful Ms Tylo came back with all manner of very distracting cosmetic surgical work done! Then she gets these awful SLs handed to her, one after another ... and poor Ms Tylo, there was also the real life tragedy of her son dying ... it has been VERY trying, watching her. Today seemed a turning point though! I loved it when Taylor called Brooke on the carpet for the way she mothered Rick and how she was always pining after Ridge during the young boy/man's growing years, having him be the adult who took care of his mother! It was a great scene, and I had to really laugh out loud when Taylor talked about how she abandoned Rick all the while she followed her 'destineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.' So, may be they will turn around Taylor now. Unfortunately, it looks like they are also going to put her with Ridge, at least for a while ... Ridge and Brooke.....come on! What more can be said about these 2?!?! Pam....fun to watch her torment Donna....anything bad that happens to Donna makes me happy. Pam does crazy really well. I really, really enjoy the actress. And Dazie, I'm with you on Stephanie....I think she is just misunderstood. I disagree with the two of you totally then. As much as I loathe Brooke , I dislike Stephanie even more. Her constant obsession with Ridge's sex life really really bothers me (though I severly dislike Ridge too). What's more, she is simply a manipulator of all members of her family just so that they dance to her tune. I hate Stephanie with a passion I can never summon for the insipid buffoon Ridge ... Malar
