I was looking for more spoilers and came across an idea a fan had for a good exit story for Ava:
After all the publicity on Bill and Ava, Ava comes up missing. The people who were after Bill in Venezuela have taken her. Now the viewers finally find out the story about Bill's life in Venezuela. As we always say, too bad the viewers can't write the stories! |

I would have liked her to stay and be with Remy....that poor guy can't catch a break! They were good together....and she looks so much healthier when
she's pregnant! LOL

Frank has had an extremely long unlucky streak too, but at least he gets the girl once and awhile. I was looking forward to Ava and Remy being a couple.

I agree. Although I did not really like Ava until they paired her with Remy, this would still be a way to leave them connected. Besides soaps don't do enough single father storylines.... |

I like the idea of Bill having problems because of his past in Venezuela, because it would be disappointing if they don't take that anywhere. (Maybe Lizzie
or Dinah could get kidnapped? Dinah could be working for "them"?)
I like the idea of Ava and Remy not being tied to Bill anymore...that storyline just makes me sad. I'd like to see Ava and Remy become a happy couple for a while. GL needs a happy couple...GL light needs something happy!

I have a question....Did the show get rid of her or did MRS decide not to return? I remember reading at one time that she said she wanted to come back but only
part time. Now if the show didn't want to do that I could see them letting her go. It's not really different than any woman having a child and then
wanting to return to work but with less hours. If the employer chooses not to accomodate it then that's their choice. I'm just saying.....

While I don't care for the actress Ava, I do like MRS. I hope she is leaving to stay home with her baby, not b/c she wants to find other work due to being
unhappy with GL. It seems like so many GL actors/actresses are leaving lately. What is going on there, that so many are leaving?

I never liked Ava but the actress was a different story. This is a soap and this story was soap no 1.
I just think she should be welcomed back, and nothing turns me off more than, other actors lose their jobs. This story has made me want to see remy and Ava together, I hated Remy before his temper made me flinch. When he beat up G etc I couldn't root for him.These two actors had great on screen chemistry. What are tiic thinking????? I just wish Michelle the very best with her career, and with her baby.

GL's Ava goes to Chicago to seek help for her postpartum depression this week , and her trip will mark the official exit of Michelle Ray smith (Ava), who gave birth to son Jake on July 8. "The role will not be recast," confirms a GL spokesperson. "Michelle has decided to stay home and be a mom. We will miss her and wish her all the best." So, Ava will be recast (?) Hmmm.... rose |

It is a pretty powerful thing to have a baby! I can't believe she gave up her whole career over it, though, she is one gutsy lady! I would be so scared to
take myself out of the work force for fear of never getting back in! Good luck to her!

and this has been some of her best work lately. i was never a fan, but lately wow. she has done some good stuff. years ago i was lucky enough to stay home
until kids went to school. it was great.

I like MRS; I think she's very cute. I just never liked Ava. Ever. Until she started having scenes with Remy. I think they make a
great couple and it's a shame that MRS is leaving before this storyline played out. But, I wish her all the best!
Oh! And I hope we don't lose MR!!

I have always like this actress and hate to see her go. She has quite a modeling career, so maybe she can do more on her own time and not be tied down to a
soap. It's nice that she is able to devote this time to her newborn.
