Did you see the scar on her forehead? I wonder if that is from the brown recluse spider bite she got a few years ago?

I've wondered that from time to time myself. I do think it's from the spiderbite. What a weird place for a spider bite, huh?
I've seen that scar on her before this filming technique, but I do agree it is more difficult this was to hide any blemish or mark. |

Wasn't she putting on a hat when that happened? I seem to remember that she was, but I could be mistaken.

I thought it was bangs. Marah and now Marina are the ones I remember having hat fetish's.

No I mean, didn't the spider bite her at her home when she was putting on a hat? That is why it is in such an odd spot.
She had bangs cut to hide the bite after it happened I believe.

Oh! You know, I think you're right! I seem to remember something like that. Sorry I missed that in your first post, lol.
I am a HUGE arachnaphobe (sp?), scared to death of spiders, all kinds. I can't stand them, I have issues even killing them, cause they might get on me ya know, lol. One freaking spider has the power to ruin all kinds of activities for me. It's so bad that if I scream, my boys and hubby just look at each other and say "spider" and come to my rescue, thankfully. I had bought something like 290 bulbs to plant one fall and I was down to my last three or four bunchs and I uncovered a quarter sized wolf spider, a really hideous, hairy, creaky legged, ground spider, that we have tons of around here, and I let out a beller that had my neighbors flying out their doors, lol. My kids and hubby finished the planting, lol. What happened to CC......I would still be in therapy, lol. |

We have a girl here at work that does the same thing. If she screams we all know it is a spider. She actually sprays them with Windex at home because she
won't get close enough to kill them. I don't know if the Windex kills them or just leaves them squeeky clean.

I killed a spider with that Bam stuff used for cleaning bathrooms once it worked well. But i usually use bug spray if i have some. My husband is to afraid to
kill the spiders so i have to do it myself. I just smash them if they aren't to scary. Brown Recluses tend to hide in olds shoes, because they are
reclusive. They could easily choose to hide in a hat though. One time i found a big spider in the tent when we were camping, I screamed and told my husband to
go kill it, he refused and i had to go and smash it with a flip flop, cause i couldn't leave it in there to bite me at night.

I am terrified of ANY insect.
I have sprayed spiders in the bathroom with hairspray, underarm deodorant or what ever might be in there. After they are down,I don't mind picking them up with tissue and flushing them down. Now if it is on the wall, that's another story,If it isn't near me,I just leave it alone and it goes away.I know,it's still in the house, but out of sight-out of mind. |

This happened to a good friend of mine a few years ago...in almost the exact spot. It left a deeply pitted scar that was roughly 1" x1" and really
red. He's had plastic surgery though, so now it just looks like a thin line. As you can imagine, he is now terrified of spiders.

I am the zookeeper here and I gotta tell ya, I've had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, blue lobsters(crayfish) and all kinds of fish. I WILL not
allow spiders or snakes and both of my kids have been told.....ABSOLUTELY NOT, don't even ask! However, the only thing my kid wants for his tenth birthday
is a bearded dragon (lizzard?). DH says no, I say wait til we move which should start in two weeks or so, we shall see. I have to see how much care and
cleaning "mom" will get to do, ugh. Lol! I cannot even stand in front of the cages with snake and spiders in them at the pet store so there is no way
they are living in my house.
I gotta try the Windex thing...........lol. I have sprayed them with just about everything else figuring if it doesn't poison them it might drown them, lol. My latest fascination is Sugar Gliders! They are so cute, but it looks like they are very "daily care dependant", meaning I couldn't just put food out and go to the lake for the weekend, which we do all summer, so those will probably be a no go for me. I don't want to hire a sitter all summer long. |

Ms Mistoffelees wrote: I know exactly how you feel. I'm so terrified of spiders. There was one in my room one time and my mom tried to kill it, but it got away. Two months
passed, and I still wouldn't sleep back in my room. If I'm staying over at someone's house, I'll look around the room for spiders before I go
to bed. I won't go camping, because I won't sleep in a tent. I can't even look at pictures of them in a book or anything. Just all sorts of things.
I cannot stand them. My life would go a lot smoother if they'd just become extinct, lol.

I don't have any pets, but thought I would like to have a green iguana.
The only problem is they can cause deseases and my daughter is always picking stuff up off the floor with her hands. And you walk across the floor where it has been and there the germs are. Snakes don't bother me,they are not actually "slimey" they are soft and smooth. And you wont get a poisinous one from the pet store. I wouldn't be so friendly with just any old snake, but I like the ones in the stores. |

At our house, we believe in the catch and release program. We get a cup and a peice of paper and take 'em outside. My husband cannot even stand to smash a bug. He even catches and releases big 'ol Texas roaches...not me, I will smash those!!! When he does that I almost want to throw away the cup!!! Ak! |
