Liberty plays Brad and then leads Parker astray. Mike gives Paul a warning. Sofie begs Paul to stay with her. Barbara tries to separate Sofie and Paul. Jack orders Parker to tell Brad the full truth about Liberty.
At The Lakeview, Brad, Katie and Liberty call for room service. Liberty comments that her own room at the hotel would be great but doesn't dwell on the subject. She tells Brad how well school is going and then leaves to get dressed. Brad tells Katie things are going well. Liberty overhears and smiles. She is leaving for school when her new sunglasses fall from her pocket. Brad asks where she got them. Thinking fast, Liberty says she borrowed them from a new friend. Katie doesn't believe her but Brad does so she doesn't say anything. Liberty hurries off to school.
Jack arrives at Carly's to take Parker and Sage to school. Sage is fighting with Parker over his new video game. Jack sees that it is a violent game and asks if Carly approved the purchase. Sage pipes up that Parker bought it with his own money. The bus arrives and Sage scoots through the door. Jack stops Parker and asks where he got the money for the game. He calls the school to let them know Parker is going to be late and then orders him to spill the beans. Parker caves in and tells him all about Liberty. Jack and Parker go to The Lakeview; Brad tells them about the DNA results. Jack makes Parker tell them about Liberty's antics at school. Brad and Katie are stunned. Brad calls the school and learns that Liberty hasn't been to school - ever! Brad and Katie track Liberty down in Old Town. They confront her and she says she'll go back to school if they meet her demands: she wants her own room at the hotel! Katie can't believe it and is even more stunned when Brad gives in! He tries to make Liberty promise to attend school and stay out of trouble for the rest of the year but she'll only commit to the rest of the week. She leaves for school. At WOAK, Katie tells Brad that giving in to Liberty's demands was a mistake but he convinces her that it was the right idea because now they can continue with their honeymoon. She asks him to call Janet about this, so he does. She doesn't answer - again - so Brad leaves a message.
Meg meets Mike at The Lakeview. He goes to get a table for breakfast. Barbara walks in and asks Meg about Paul. Meg tells her about Paul's arrest and the restraining order. Babs is stunned because Paul hasn't contacted her at all. Meg apologizes to her; Babs says she can't leave her son alone and leaves. Mike returns. In the dining room, Meg tells him that she understands now why she can never trust Paul again. She goes on about jail being the best thing for Paul now but Mike stops her. He says jail isn't the best option for Paul!
Sofie arrives at Fairwinds where Paul is recovering from another drunken night. She asks why he hasn't called and he says something else came up. Sofie comes on to him, telling him that they are both free to be together now and she only wants to be with him. She lifts her blouse as Barbara walks in! Seeing her, Sofie runs out. Babs confronts Paul, telling him that sleeping with Sofie will be a huge mistake. Paul's lawyer calls and he leaves for the police station. Barbara stays to talk to Sofie. She tells Sofie she can't save Paul, just like she couldn't save Cole.
At the police station, Mike meets Paul and lays down the rules: he doesn't have to go to jail but if he steps foot on the farm or goes near Meg, Mike says he'll answer to him! He leaves. Sofie arrives at the jail and tells Paul she'll take him home. He tells her to leave him alone because he doesn't want her or her help! He leaves. Sofie is crushed.
Barbara goes to The Lakeview where she runs into Lisa. Barbara tells Lisa about Paul and Sofie, wondering what she can do to keep them apart. She leaves for the police station to check in with Paul and sees him with Sofie. She watches as he blows Sofie off and leaves and then takes Sofie back to The Lakeview. Over lunch, Babs brings up Sofie's jewelry line again. Sofie keeps bringing up Paul but Babs won't talk about him; she finally gets Sofie's attention and lays out a plan to launch her career. She decides that Sofie must attend the reopening of Metro, dressed to the nines and wearing her own jewelry.
Meg arrives home just as Jack and Parker do. Jack sends the kiddo upstairs to get his missing papers for class. He tells Meg about Brad's new daddy status and how Liberty is a handful - just like Brad was. Mike arrives; Jack and Parker leave. Mike says she has nothing to worry about from Paul and invites her out to the construction site. As they are walking, Mike spots Paul sitting in the middle of the field! He can't believe Paul is flouting the restraining order already and confronts him. Paul calmly says he was nowhere near the house or the construction site and that Mike could have walked Meg somewhere else. Meg tells Mike it is okay. Paul apologizes to her for his actions and says she has nothing to fear from him. He walks away as Meg hides her tears.
Jack takes Parker back to school. He tells Parker how proud he is of him and asks the kid to keep an eye out for Liberty. He leaves. Liberty pops out from behind a tree and convinces Parker to skip school with her - again!
