I stop watching GL for a couple of weeks and look what happens! Harley leaves!

I wonder if this is going to be the start of a mass exodus of GL actors... The show has been lacking lately. It looks like they are backing off the "stalker cam" a bit. Now if they could get a good storyline going and some decent writing...

i will be very sad if this is true and beth leaves so close to the leaving of gus. i am also concerned for the show, i know they have a year, i can only hope they will turn it around. i just can not imagine my day without GL. i do wish they would bring back some of the history of the show with some of the actors we so seldom see anymore who were once integral to the show. i really liked harley and was sad about what the writers have done to her character. i just do not want her gone....

Yes she was Eden she left in AMC in 1984 for that role,,,,then when that soaps was cancelled she headed to GL for a short stint Tangie, after that she headed back to AMC I was raised on AMC GH and OLTL and Y&R, I stopped watching in 1992 and AMC in 2004,,, I was so tired of thoose soapsso I switched because I loved Jenna Bradshaw who was on OLTL anyhow I have become a devoted fan to GL and I will not stop watching, as of late I have been peeking in on AMC time will tell if BE could fill...

she was played by Marcy Walker who originated the role in the early 80's

Wasn't she Eden on Santa Barbara too?

Well, as for BE ... I don't blame her for leaving GL. Her character has just become ridiculous, IMO.

I have been so disappointed in GL lately because of the new format that I've been watching a little of AMC, especially since Gus has gone there.
Now that Harley will go there, too, I may switch to AMC instead of watching GL.

I only want to watch one Soap and I don't know how much longer I can hang on to GL. It is sad.

I am so floored if you knew the history between Tad and Liza everyone would be saying nope she will find her way back to Tad. That is if the writers want to stay true to the history and the love story between Liza and Tad. I think if TPTB over at AMC force this it will back fire

OOOO how belivable is this crap!!!! Liza was and is a very a strong core character in Pine Valley she was played by Marcy Walker who originated the role in the early 80's and yes Liza was first with Tad many moons ago that would be Jake's older brother. So I am sure they will try to get the same chemistry as Gus and Harley but it will be Jake and Liza nope..... As good a BE is I just dont think she can be Liza,,,,, Liza was married to Adam Chandler who stared on Bonaza and not a...

There's a big pic of Beth Ehlers on the cover. She has joined AMC as Liza Colby. Inside it says CBS has told GL they can't recast Ehlers on the heels of losing RPG. Her exit will mean the exit of another character too.
